At The Teller’s Table, our menu is shaped by experience, curiosity, and a deep respect for ingredients.


Years spent working in kitchens across the country, alongside time dining in some of the UK’s finest restaurants, have influenced the way our chef approaches food: with precision, balance and intention. Every dish is built around harmony. Salt to enhance, fat to carry flavour, acid to lift - each element carefully considered so nothing feels unnecessary.


Traveling across Europe has also left its mark. From classical French technique to the bold simplicity of Italian and Spanish cooking, these influences are woven through a modern British lens. The result is food that feels both familiar and quietly unexpected.

Sustainability plays a central role in how we create. We challenge ourselves to use ingredients in multiple ways, reducing waste while unlocking creativity. Trim becomes stock. Surplus becomes sauce. Nothing is overlooked.


Behind it all sits years of learning - cookbooks studied, techniques refined, ideas tested and retested. We’re constantly exploring, experimenting with lesser-used ingredients and uncommon techniques, always asking how we can elevate without overcomplicating.
